This section is divided as follows:

  1. Archaic and Classical coinage (to 336 BC) - coins of Greek and Greek-influenced cities and states prior to ascension of Alexander the Great.

  2. Hellenistic coinage (336 to 30 BC) - coins of Hellenistic monarchies, city states and Greek-influenced polities up to Roman conquest.
